101 Things in 1001 Days

I finally finished my's not only about running, but I decided to post it here anyway! A thank you shout-out to Christina, as I liked her list so much, I wanted to make one of my own.

Start date 1 January 2010. Finish date 12 September 2012.

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

  1. That is an awesome list. There are many items that I'd love to comment on like laughing each that one.
Is A-Ha still together and doing concerts? My favorite song is Take on Me.
The letter to open in 10 years...that is really cool. You'll need to post about some of the things you put in the letter.

I look forward to seeing you make progress on your list.

  2. I hope you are enjoying your holiday.

    What is your thesis on?
