My thoughts being that we're teaching Dylan moderation, and therefore practicing it ourselves. We eat quite well, and after watching Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution in West Virginia, well, to be honest, we're feeling quite smug about how we eat, and of how good an eater Dylan is. We regularly make up a weekly meal plan to stick on the fridge and stick to it; it's so convenient! Plus we love to cook up delicious food; isn't it so rewarding to do so? Chris wasn't a fan of couscous until recently, when I did up a Chicken Tagine dish. So much food to explore in the world... so little time!

Thanks for posting the above picture. Very cool. I've put it on my desktop as well, and I know Dylan and I will have fun talking about it tomorrow morning once he notices it!

Just realized I'm replying to a post you put up back in Feb! Better late than never! All's well on this end. 36+ weeks along, feeling tired but good. Still walking the dog numerous times per week. Plus I added in prenatal yoga last month, twice a week. THAT has been a marvellous addition. Weight gain is excellent - 15lbs, so both my midwife and i are ecstatic! I was a little bit overweight to start (170), so I'm totally stoked! Gained 25 with Dylan. The difference? made better food choices all along this time. Plus craved egg, cheese, & tomato on toast. And fruit. All very, very good stuff!

Now I'm just prattling on when I should be heaving this belly into bed!

Are you on Facebook?

goodnight!wendynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5522573303189949664.post-29856595012191705742010-02-17T06:28:29.545-08:002010-02-17T06:28:29.545-08:00Very interesting post. I will have to try that.

I have written down your "what food rules do you live by" for a Running Challenge Question. Maybe this/next week I'll answer it on my blog.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02527827359630897863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5522573303189949664.post-7273384313126663962010-02-16T01:56:56.294-08:002010-02-16T01:56:56.294-08:00The only rule I follow is to avoid the really unhe...The only rule I follow is to avoid the really unhealthy stuff. This is mainly very fatty, oily food. Other than that I give my body what it asks for. When I train a lot, I eat more as well. I don’t eat much salt. This is more a taste thing than anything else. I never put salt on anything. Salt in the food I don’t mind as long as it’s not too much. Nice pic!Johannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17588120934444485158noreply@blogger.com
